Tiffany Han on how to be a Truth Teller, Hand Raiser and Yes Sayer

I’m delighted to be sharing this interview with Tiffany Han, host of Raise Your Hand Say Yes on the podcast this week. Tiffany is an amazing life coach, leader of her year long “Inner Circle” class, and offers up a lot of guidance on how to “have a life that feels as good on inside as it looks on the outside.”

One of my favorite parts of this discussion with Tiffany is when we dive into the importance of digging in and doing things your own way, the first time, as an act of honoring what you need. I know that there are many times when I actively avoid doing something, or try to do it the way other people say I should, only to end up coming back to the same thing later to re-do it on the way that makes the most sense to me. Here’s what Tiffany has to say about this very thing in her life:

“Whenever I lean into something, it thrives. And when I try to deny it and be the person that I think I ‘should be,’ things wither. That is the thing that I keep learning just over and over and over and over again.
And, I’ve gotten myself to the place now where I’m like, ‘all right, Tiffany, we can do this the easy way or the hard way. The outcome is going to be the same.’

I’m at a place now where I’m just trying to lean into that ‘knowing,’ and just let myself know it instead trying to talk myself out of it, because it’s inconvenient or because it doesn’t look like the way that we’ve been taught things ‘should look.’”
