Colin Egglesfield is an actor, author, and entrepreneur – best known for his roles as Josh Madden in the long-running soap opera All My Children, Auggie Kirkpatrick on The CW’s short-lived drama series Melrose Place, and Evan Parks on The Client List. I’m delighted to have him on Jump Start Your Joy this week for an interview to talk about creating real connection, and becoming an “Agile Artist” (which is also the name of his brand new book).
In his book, Colin shares his experiences and insights from his journey that began in a small town, and landed him on some of the biggest stages in the world. He shares vulnerable truths and strategies he adopted to overcome the odds in pursuit of his acting career, and, in surviving cancer twice.
I loved this conversation because Colin is both so grounded and so inspiring. He’s a self defined introvert, and it’s interesting to hear his story because I think so many of us feel uncertain about our path, but find great joy and connection once we’ve found the thing that feels right for our lives.
I also deeply appreciate Colin as he shares about surviving cancer twice. He doesn’t shy away from talking about what he’s learned and chosen to pursue after battling testicular cancer, which he was diagnosed with, and was treated for while working on All my Children.
