My birthday was on Thursday and we had a fun-filled four days to celebrate!
On Thursday, my parents, and sister and her family all came over for dinner. They brought delicious gluten free cupcakes from Sibby’s Cupcakery.
We opened gifts and I got this adorable rooster painting from my Aunt. The rooster is a symbol of good luck, and it’s traditionally hung in the kitchen. I love yellow (notice the jacket!) so this is just perfect 🙂
The littles were all very excited about opening gifts. They “helped” a lot!
On Saturday, we took off for Happy Hallow Park and Zoo in San Jose. First up? Feeding goats! Zoom loves feeding animals
Happy Hallow has rides, too, and Zoom picked the dolphin on the carousel. I got to ride on the gorilla!
And, we rode “Danny the Dragon,” which is a dragon train that winds around the park.
On Sunday we went on a picnic at Lake Elizabeth, in Fremont (right near home). Zoom really likes Cheetos.
We took bread to feed ducks.
It was sweet to see Zoom and his daddy sitting together on the dock.
What did you do this weekend?
