Jump Start Your Joy with guest Cory Huff on The Art of Storytelling and Staying Curious

Today’s interview is with Cory Huff of The Abundant Artist, and he joins me to talk about the art of storytelling, and his ability to stay curious. Cory works with artists to help them market and sell their work online. He’s also an actor, a gamer, coach, and storyteller. And! He’s got a book, “How To Sell Art Online,” coming out in June, 2016. I hope you enjoy this episode with Cory Huff on the art of storytelling and staying curious.

It was really fun getting to chat with Cory – we have a lot in common, and so it was fun to chat about acting, gaming, coaching, and (to be in the theme of this week), being a Multi-passionate person. It’s always a hoot to meet someone who has passions that are similar to my own, and I truly wish Cory and I could have chatted for longer! You’ll get to meet Cory and learn a ton more about me, too!

  3. Cory sounds like an amazing person. For the life of me, I cannot understand the interest in D & D. I’ve tried, but sadly, no. The package deal sounds amazing. The planner sounds great. I am not in a financial position for this but you did put together an amazing package.

  4. Thanks Rebecca! That sounds like a great practice to keep things positive 🙂

  5. While I don’t have the time now to listen to the entire podcast, it seems like you two had a lot to talk about. His books also sounds interesting. I’d very much like to read it to hear what he has to say.

  6. My husband tried to get me playing WoW. I could play for maybe half an hour and then I wanted to go do something else. Apparently you need to play for more than half an hour at a time to make it really worthwhile. *blush* Your husband must love that you play, too!

  7. Ha! I always feel like I need to play Dungeons and Dragons or somebody is going to revoke my nerd card! What a great guest!

  11. What an interesting guy. I need to listen to you regularly now. You both have a lot of great info that is inspiring.I also agree that following our creative side will better us overall

  12. Cory seems like such a fun-loving guy! I’m all about feeding into your own creativity. Admittedly, I’ve never played World of Warcraft or Dungeon Dragons, but it’s so neat that you could bond over it!

  13. I have heard about this book, something that interests me a lot. Great podcast, let my boyfriend listen in the second time and he loved it – he’s a huge game player!
