For Mother’s Day this year, Sean and Zoom made me a very cute terracotta pot, covered in shells that we’d collected together at the beach. They covered the bottom portion of the pot with ceramic grout, smoothed it with a plastic “club card” (the ones like a credit card). Then they pressed the shells into the grout and let it dry. Look at how cute this is!
This week, we have a couple of awards to give out.
The “Best Craft by Kids” Award goes to the Toddler Name Art submitted by the House of Woyaks. This idea is super cute, and looks like a fairly easy way to let a toddler create a one of a kind piece of art for their room. I love that it is simple and easy for really little kids.
The “Editor’s Choice” Award goes to the Beach Playscape posted by “Taming the Goblin,” which is a super cute summer project! This one is a tiny scale beach that encourages play and exploration.
Thank you to everyone for your great submissions! If you were featured, please grab a button and display it with pride 🙂
It’s time to link up for the Kid’s crafts party 🙂
A few rules for the linky party:
1. Link to your specific post, not the main page of your blog.
2. Grab the party button and post it on your blog or post so other people know about the party.
3. Please become a follower of Welcoming Spirit 🙂 when you join the party.
4. Please do not add links that promote other giveaways, link parties or online shops. And please only add links for crafts that you have not submitted on Welcoming Spirit before.
The link party will start at 5:00am Thursday and end on Wednesday at 11:59pm (Pacific Time). By entering your link, you are giving me permission to use any part of your post including pictures in a spotlight on Welcoming Spirit. (I can’t wait to highlight your work and give you credit and links back :)! Sharing with:
